Twin-Ridge Wheat Ear Kirin Whip in 304 stainless steel
Twin-Ridge Wheat Ear. Stainless Steel.

The full, handsome chain Chinese crackers simply call the "Wheat Ear" — a smooth, fast-flowing whip body forged in 304 stainless steel.

Its links are so full and well-formed that crackers in China named it after a ripe ear of wheat — the Wheat Ear Kirin Whip. Run two raised ridges down each link and it earns its other name, the Twin-Ridge Wheat Ear. That extra structure is what makes it glide: SMOOTH, FAST & FAVORED BY ADVANCED CRACKERS — one of the best-loved chains among experienced practitioners.

The chain is forged from 304 stainless steel — the same food- and medical-grade alloy used in surgical tools and kitchenware. It's corrosion-resistant, rust-proof and hypoallergenic, polished to a clean bright finish that won't tarnish through years of handling.

WHY THIS WHIP

Smooth, Bright, Made to Flow

◆ 01
Twin-Ridge Links
Two raised ridges down each link give the chain its smooth, fast glide — the detail advanced crackers ask for.
◆ 02
304 Stainless
Food- and medical-grade steel: rust-proof, corrosion-resistant, hypoallergenic, and bright for years.
◆ 03
12-Stage Taper
Twelve smooth steps from thick to fine — uninterrupted, flowing power from grip to tip.
12-STAGE TAPER
HANDLE END (thickest) TIP END (finest)
The chain steps down through 12 stages — heaviest near the handle for control, finest near the tip to accelerate the crack. Twelve smooth transitions for clean, uninterrupted flow.

  • Lengths and weights are measured by hand, so slight variation is normal — please refer to the actual item (±0.8 in / ±2 cm)

About 304 Stainless Steel

304 is the most widely used grade of stainless steel — the same food- and medical-grade alloy found in surgical instruments, cookware and kitchen sinks. It's chosen for being corrosion-resistant, rust-proof and hypoallergenic.

For a whip, that means a chain that stays bright and clean through years of handling and sweat — it won't tarnish, and it's gentle on the skin. A polished finish that keeps its shine.

⚔ A NOTE FROM THE FOUNDER

"Ask an experienced cracker which chain they reach for, and a lot of them say the Wheat Ear. Those full links and twin ridges make it glide like nothing else — twelve smooth stages from grip to tip. Every one leaves our Dengfeng workshop hand-inspected. If it doesn't run smooth, we don't ship it."
